Fuji Maestro Alhaji Rasak Kolawole Ilori, otherwise known as Kollington Ayinla has described the tale that he is currently down with an undisclosed ailment as nothing but a fable. He added that those behind the tale are only wishing themselves evil.

Speaking with newsmen on Saturday, July 20, 2013, the Ijota, Kwara born musician expressed discomfort about the tale, labeling those sponsoring it as idle and irresponsible "I am aware of the rumour but there is no iota of truth in it. I am hale and hearty; I am not down with any strange or undisclosed ailment. I believe those saying that are just wishing themselvesevil, not me'.

Asked to react to another weighty tale that he is involved in a multimillion naira contract scam, Kebe n Kwara, as he is also known said, "You all know I am a musician, not a contractor. So, how can I be involved in any fraudulent contract? It is a malicious and wicked rumour. People are only interested in cooking up stories for no just cause.
Asked to shed light on what could have informed the rumor, he reacted. "Those peddling the rumour are the only ones that can explain the reason or reasons for their action.
