My names are Allwell Apeke Ademola, I am from Abeokuta, Ogun state, a graduate of English and Diploma in Performing arts from Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU.
OCB: So, you studied english, how come you are not in the newsroom or school, why nollywood?
Allwell Apèkè Ademola:
Newsroom ke, no sir Oº°º°, and school? I don't think I am a good teacher, I am weak around kids, I will spoil them silly (She laughs)
Well I will say acting has been part of me from childhood, I have been in it since my childhood days and professionally my teen years since 1985.
OCB: Waoh, so what is the title of the first movie you featured in? What year? Produced by who? How did you get the role?

Well it wasnt a movie, it was Animal games then on Nta and Tales by moonlight

I featured and I wrote the script of Eti Keta by Saidi Balogun. Sako Jiya, Laroda Ojo (By Saheed Salami). Ojumo Ire (By Saheed Salami as well). Gongo Aso (By Saidi Balogun). Oba Onise Ara (by Oladele Matti). Asiri Oba tu (By Sola Akintunde).Jagunlabi (wrote the script) Omiran (wrote the script as well). Kutanle (By Eniola Olaniyan). Oba Asa (By Saidi Balogun). Leyin Olorun, Awodi o mo. I also did an album with Saidi Balogun, which is yet to be released. It's titled Forver. We co-produced it. I coordinated it and I sang too with Adex, Artquake and Gloria Doyle. I did †ђξ soundtrack of Igba Eda (By Lola Alao) and Aya Gbangba (By Ope Olusanya). Oriki by Kunle Afod, Tiara (Also Ope Olusanya and so on)
I just produced my own movie ADEDA,
I featured and wrote Toyin Aimakhu's movie Oritoke.
OCB: From your own point of view, would you consider nollywood as a well established industry?
Allwell Apèkè Ademola:
Yeah to some extent
OCB: Looking at your last response, it is very clear you are a scriptwriter, actress and producer, how do you balance between these 3?
Allwell Apèkè Ademola:
Well its interwoven, I write scripts at my spare time, I act at locations and I produce at the right time.
OCB: Where do you get your inspiration from?
Allwell Apèkè Ademola:
GOD is my inspiration, cos I don't know, it just comes.
OCB: ADEDA as your first movie, how and what was your experience before, during and after location, getting the casts, crew...
Allwell Apèkè Ademola:
My experience was a sweet one, cos I took my time and prepared well for it. I had the right casts and crew, they were very mature and professional.
OCB: I like that, what would you say is your unique selling point?
Allwell Apèkè Ademola:

OCB: From recent survey, it has been discovered that the take home pay in nollywood is not encouraging, to you how true is this?
Allwell Apèkè Ademola:
Very true.
OCB: What is acting in your own words?
Allwell Apèkè Ademola:
The art or occupation of performing in plays, movies, or television productions
Temporarily doing the duties of another person. Acting is the work of an actor or actress, which is a person in theatre, television, film, or any other storytelling medium ....These answers probably vary from individual to individual as acting means something different for everybody ...

Fashion and style to me is dressing good and wearing what you are comfortable in, I will not be caught dead wearing a Bikini.

I see myself as an ambasador, I see myself using my career to better people's lives, expecially †ђξ destitutes and less privileged
OCB: So tell me about your new movie ADEDA when is it coming out, who are the casts? What is the story line? Why should we watch out for it?

Adeda is the story of a Lady Iteoluwa who went through disappointments and heartbreaks in the hands of men and close friend, she resulted into sleeping around and was set up by her cousin Adun, she later compromised when Harrison came into her life and discovered her singing talent. Its a drama full of suspense, intrigue, romance, tragedy and comical. My favourite song is any inspirational song more of Jazz and Soul, food....Fufu with any Efik soup (am shy).
