Omawumi gunning for her first movie award

The ‘Bottom Belle’ singer has been nominated for the Golden Icons Academy Movie Awards, GIAMA,in the category ‘Most Promising Actress’ for her role in the Yvonnne Nelson-produced ‘House of Gold’.
To clinch the award, the songstress will competes with Mary Lazarus (Desperate House girls), Mbufung Seikeh (Ninah’s dowry), Okawa Shaznay (Cheaters), Tamara Eteimo (Desperate House girls), Itz Tiffany (Single and married).
The award is scheduled to hold on October 19, 2013 in the US.
