When you started out as an actress, did you think you would hit the stardom?
I don't think I'm big but I know I'm aiming higher and I will get to the peak.
What makes you unique from others and what do you think are the ingredients of success?
The ingredients of success are humility, hard work and prayers.
What are the qualities of a good actor?
You should be able to interpret your character very well, read and digest it and be different from others. Nobody is perfect in all areas; we all have our areas of specialization.
How have you been handling fame since you became popular as an actress?
I don't see myself as a famous person but at times when people run into me, they make me feel important and this shows that I'm being appreciated for what I'm doing.
How much did you collect as your first take-home-pay as an actress?
My first take-home-pay as an actress was N5,000. I was not even expecting it. The movie was produced by Bimbo Oshin.
Which year?
It was in 2006.
What do you enjoy most about acting?
The fact that I have passion for acting gives me joy.
What role do you detest most?
Playing the role of a tout. My fans will tell me that I'm Omo Butty, that I should stop acting like a tout. I know I can be good in everything but I will keep on trying.
How would you assess your parents?
My mother is my pillar and stood by me during my challenging days. If not for her, I won't be where I am today. I leave my kids with her and she takes good care of them when I am on locations. She washes my clothes, cooks for me and still pampers me. If not for her, I would have stopped acting like two years ago to take care of my kids. Nobody can take care of your kids like you or your mother. I pray to God to spare the life of my mother. She is in her late 70s. By God's grace at 80, I will celebrate her.
How do you deal with some personalities you can't avoid?
I try to be humble and act like a movie just to make them dance to my tune because there is no way one would not step on toes.
But there was a story in the paper recently that men were offering you money to sleep with you, is it true?
A journalist came to interview me and I didn't say such thing but the reporter just cast a sensational headline. I only told him that men come to me to seduce me with money but I told them that I can't compromise my integrity.
How do you feel when you read scandalous story about yourself?
I don't allow that to bother me anymore. Even my mum and close relatives have told me that it's the price to pay for being a celebrity. But some people believe that whatever they read in the paper is true.
Which of the stories written about you was true?
None of the stories was true. They were all rumours. Imagine the story they wrote about me that somebody kidnapped me for three days.
How could that be possible?
How would I be missing for three days and no one would make noise about it on facebook and other social media. Journalists should verify and investigate their stories very well.
Would you encourage your children to go into acting?
If they like it, I will support them with prayers. What do you think is responsible for the death of stage play in Nigeria? A lot of things might have caused it but I think we are going back into it again.
What are you missing as a single mother?
I'm not missing anything as a single mother. In everything you do, happiness matters a lot. Some people are married but not happy and some are married and happy. I don't even remember I'm a single mother because I have everything working for me.

Are you planning to remarry?
Why not, I'm planning to remarry but right now, everything is in God's hand. If He says yes, it will be and if He says no, it's no.
If you're to produce a movie about yourself, what would you title it?
I will title it 'My Success'.
What is the relationship between you and the father of your kids?
We have a good relationship. We do talk three times in a year if there is need for it. If there is nothing important to talk about, we don't talk because I take responsibility of my children.
At what point did you have your kids?
I was already a mother before going to do part-time course in school. As a celebrity, what would you not be caught doing in private? I won't be caught having sex with my friend's lover.
