OCB: Your kind of movies I really don't understand how you go about your style of directing, they are well arranged, thrilling and educating...do you have a degree in Movie Directing?
Taiwo Oduala (DGN): *smiles* not really, but well trained in film making in general specifically in DIIRECTING.

OCB: Really, very well then, so you went all the way to study film making? Isn't that expensive over there?
Taiwo Oduala (DGN): Well.. It is. But when u have got passion for what you want, sure you are gonna do all to achieve it..
More so its expensive, but one has to just keep making things happen.. & be in the KNOW for what you dream for.

OCB: From my previous interviews with some nollywood actors, I was told that the take home pay in nollywood is not encouraging enough, does that apply to only actors? Is it like a different stories with directors?
Taiwo Oduala (DGN) : To an extent its not that encouraging, & to an extent its encouraging, depending on the kind of production & its quality. More so.. When one has gain ground, that's sure of getting encouraging fee. For directors.. Fees are always encouraging.
OCB: Does your quality of education has something to do with your charges? Do you make life easy (financial wise) on producers?
Taiwo Oduala (DGN) : Yes.. I encourage producers a lot, varies from not just fee but also making a quality film no matter how low the budget. More so the quality of the job determines, the pay.
OCB: I kinda like that, What is your greatest challenge as a director?
Taiwo Oduala (DGN): My greatest challenge is having to work with insufficient timing or low management productions.. To achieve quality jobs. I had to over work & give my self hard task to make up for the lack,,
OCB: Now this is it, Directors are the major cause of sexual harassment in the industry, why is this so, why must actresses sleep with directors before they get movie role?
Taiwo Oduala (DGN): No.. Not true. I guess you are turning it the other way round. Directors can't force actresses to have anything together, infact no girl can be forced to do things out of their wish. In some cases some actresses lure some directors into sleeping with them to earn roles due to the competitions among them, even actresses that are not too good to earn good roles believes it is by what they have they will use to get what they want
So its not true about directors laying actresses before they get roles, rather less good actresses LURE directors & the Good actresses EARN roles on merit. So if at all anything comes up between a director & an actress, then it shuld be a mutual understanding between both of them.:)
OCB: I will keep that in mind, let's be honest here, lol, have in anyway had such encounter with any upcoming actress?
Taiwo Abial (DGN): Not at all, am a discipline director, I believe in merit for any actress to earn a role from me. Despite I get lots of temptation to be lured by some of this upcoming actresses.. I deem It fit..to correct their impression..

Taiwo Oduala (DGN) : Am Taiwo Oduala, a prolific film director & producer, more so.. D CEO of oduataj productions & entertainments limited & an executive member of (DGN) directors guild of nigeria.(DGN national welfare). A well trained film maker & a graduate of sociologist from LASU (lagos state university).
Grew in Nigeria but now based within Nigeria, UK & America.
OCB: Are you married?
Taiwo Oduala (DGN): Not yet.. Single.
OCB: Are you searching?
Taiwo Oduala (DGN) : Yeap.. Searching.
OCB: Well, I'm sure readers are taking note of that....so would you marry an actress?
Taiwo Oduala (DGN) : Can't tell who am going to get married to, & Yes I can marry an actress.
OCB: Let's talk about your nominations, how exactly does this makes you feel?
Taiwo Oduala (DGN) : Yeah.. Am happy with my nomination, & this is a plus to the more already nominations have been getting in the past.
OCB: What's up with Father Moses, when is it gonna hit the cinemas?
Taiwo Oduala (DGN) : Yeah.. Father moses is coming soon to the cinema.. Its still in the processing.
OCB: How did you select your cast (s)?
Taiwo Oduala (DGN) : Cast are been selected based on the characters & who fits into the characters.
OCB: Directing and Producing, like seriously, those are the most dangerous aspect of movie making, how are you coping? Has it been easy?
Taiwo Oduala (DGN) : Its not been easy, infact.. Its very tasking.. But by the grace of God & good effort & hard work. I have been coping.
OCB: Which producer (s) would you want to work and work with, and why?
Taiwo Oduala (DGN) : Would wana work with any producer, in as much as They believe in quality job.
OCB: What is your greatest passion?
Taiwo Oduala (DGN) : My greatest passion is doing what I know how to do best.. Film making.. Directing to be precise, Also.. My greatest possession is my achievement as a TOP NOLLYWOOD FILM DIRECTOR.
OCB: How do you relax?
Taiwo Oduala (DGN) : I relax.. simply by taking off to quiet environment to Chill out.
OCB: Happiest moment (s)?
Taiwo Oduala (DGN) : Happiest moment ...I could say d first time I called my first shot as bonafide & stand out director on d set of THE FUTURE ADAMS in 1997. Which I also produced. As then the africa's youngest producer/director.

OCB: who are the People you look up to in the industry?
Taiwo Oduala (DGN): Looking upto in the industry ... I'll say were there film making industry is greater than ours for now. likes of stephen Spielberg, james cameron, mel gibson.. Spike lee etc.
