Roxanne Pompa, vice president of international formats sales and production, CBS Studios International, says the Africa’s Next Top Model is sure to be an entertaining celebration of the great beauty, fashion and unique stories of aspiring models from across the African continent.
“We are not only looking out for models but also for people who have what it takes to be a model, girls with visibility, beauty, charisma and much more, are what we are looking for,” Oluchi says.
“I am excited to be hosting Africa’s Next Top Model and it is great to be part of the successful America’s Next Top Model franchise that Tyra Banks created and has hosted for an impressive 20 cycles thus far in the US,” she says, saying further that “the African version of the franchise is long overdue and I expect the show to be a smashing success across the continent.”
Set in Cape Town, South Africa, the show features 12 aspiring top models from different parts of Africa competing to be Africa’s Next Top Model and will broadcast on DSTV’s Africa Magic Entertainment Channel 151 on Sundays at 18:00 WAT (19:00 CAT/20:00 EAT) starting Sunday 10th November 2013.
