Akin Lewis launches foundation

Veteran actor, Akin Lewis has set up a foundation for Nollywood and the arts.
The foundation, Abake Lewis Foundation for Arts (ALFA) was launched over the weekend during the celebration of the actor’s 40years as a professional on stage, radio, television and films.
The ‘Alatako’ star describes the foundation as his ‘dream for the preservation of the arts in Nigeria’, having been a part of the entertainment industry for four decades.
The event which held on Saturday November, 23, at the Amandour Suites in Ajah, Lagos was anchored by popular comedian Owen Gee.
