Dang! Abike Dabiri For Lagos Governor 2015???

Hon. Abike Dabiri- Erewa Federal House of Representatives member is under serious pressure to contest for Lagos gubernatorial election.

According to city people, Hon. Abike was said to have been hosted by a group of young Nigerians, including award-winning journalists, Tolu Ogunlesi and Chude Jideonwo, at a programme titled “The Future Lagos”.

 

While there, Mrs. Dabiri-Erewa was reportedly asked if she would contest for governorship of the state, to which she responded “Would you like me to contest?”

When the participants answered in the affirmative, she said:

“My goal at all times is to make life easier for the common man, woman and child. I don’t doubt my capacity and capability if my party considers me worthy of the position”.

The legislator was also recently asked by City People if she would run for office and she is said to have stated that she is currently under intense pressure to run for the governorship of the state. Abike Dabiri-Erewa was elected in 2003 as a representative of the Ikorodu Federal Constituency.
