On Monday, a story was culled from Thisday Newspaper, where top female journalist/columnist with Thisday, Azuka Ogujiuba gave the analysis of 2014 Headies. She devoted a paragraph to On Air Personality Toke Makinwa, who co-hosted the event with comedian Basketmouth.
After all the comments and reaction the article generated, another On Air Personality Dotun of cool FM has given his reaction on his twitter handle. opinion…
"It shocks me when a person who isn't best in her own field evaluates d life of a striving young lady. Azuka broke all d ethics of journalism. Journalism is a delicate course to take up in school. It involves human lives. U are what you write. A good journalist is not judgmental.
"A proper system, Azuka will be sued for slander. It was a beef story not didactic in watever perspective. A good journalist is constructive. I studied Mass communication & tbh all I see these days in Journalism is nepotism, partisans, absolute slander, guile & Azukas (hateful)
"I met mrs Don Pedro ystdy. She was a columnist for d guardian newspapers. Oh! God ..I met poise & objectivity. Same view..ethics are dead. If a National entity like Thisday allowed such publication online or in a newspaper then I am very disappointed. A National brand?," he stated.
