Flying Eagles Qualify for U-20 World Cup

Nigeria’s Flying Eagles beat Congo 4-1 in their second Group A match, and secured a place in the last eight in Senegal, to qualify for the Under-20 World Cup.

All four African quarter-finalists will earn a place at the global competition in New Zealand in May/June. Captain Musa Muhamed scored a brace whilst Ifeanyi Matthew and man-of-the-match Taiwo Awoniyi were also on target for the Flying Eagles.
