Police Attached to APGA Allegedly Shoots Unarmed Man in Abia

A Mobile Policeman in Abia allegedly attached to All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) gubernatorial candidate, Alex Otti shot at protesting youths while at a campaign stop on Monday near Umuahia, resulting in the injuring of an unarmed youth, Obinna Okeiyi.

According to available information, the shooting of the unarmed youth immediately caused the four clans of Ikwuano to erupt into a chaotic mood, while Obinna is presently battling for life at the Federal Medical Center in Umuahia

The violence ensued when some youths of Ikwuano resisted an attempt by the APGA Guber candidate, Alex Otti, who allegedly stormed the venue of Monday Prayers Summit organized by some Pastors and the clergy in the community, with his political campaign. The youths resisted campaign in their church, leading to the gunshot from the policeman, who had the intention of returning normalcy.
