Deadly Infectious Disease That Causes Blindness & Kills in Hours Hits Ondo



Information breaking now has it that a deadly infectious disease has hit Irele township in Ondo state. The victims of this disease wake up blind and dead a few hours later, at least 15 has reported dead.
The State Commissioner for Health, Dr Dayo Adeyanju, said the disease, discovered on Wednesday, is strange and it’s symptoms include headache and loss of sight. He said local and international health institutions are already carrying out investigations on the root cause and treatment of the ailment. He advised locals to report any case of sudden illness or death.
