Mixed reactions trail man who trekked from Lagos to Abuja to celebrate Buhari’s victory...
Is it impossible to trek frm Lagos to Abuja? Or where did he start trekking frm?
— Balerion (@_DarkAlin) April 20, 2015
A journalist yesterday questioned if Suleiman Hashimu who promised to trek from Lagos to Abuja if Gen. Buhari wins the 2015 Presidential election, actually trekked the whole distance ..
While many hail his courage and great feat,some have been asking for genuine proof that he didn't hitch a ride along the way.
This got me ROTFL...
Except you develop a complex mathematical model for it, I don't see how you can know for certain if it's possible to walk or if he did walk from Lagos to Abj in that time....cos there are some many factors to consider:
* did he follow conventional car route?
* how many mins/hours did he take to rest, eat and/ sleep, chat?
* at what pace was he walking
* did he maintain the same pace all through the journey?...
he could jug a while Now assuming he lag in one or more of the above which still doesn't account for all the factors or parameters in this context,
then we can take the lag as "U"...
and give a linear model as: ¥ = a + bC + b2R + b3P + .... + U
Where ¥ = number of hours it took him
a = constant
b = coefficients
U = error term/lag In theory, it means the number of hours it took him to walk the journey depends on the distance C, rest hours R, walking pace P and other factors. The statisticians and mathematicians can take it from here *sigh*

He walked from Lagos to Abuja on foot in less than a week. Seriously? I feel like "tearing" someone a backhand slap. I'm not joking

Lagos to Abuja is 662Km. Average walking speed is 5.0km/hr. (662km) ÷ (5.0km/hr) = 132.4 hours. The guy had 19 days = 456 hrs. HATERS!!!"

I'm also going to walk from London to Abuja if GEJ is reelected in 2019.

Experts just said Hasheem Suleiman can travel the distance of Lagos to Abuja in 108.48hrs or 4.52 days but he did that in 19 days."
