KEYAMO: GEJ Wants Buhari To Inherit The Fuel Scarcity

Outspoken human rights lawyer, Festus Keyamo, has lambasted the outgoing government of President Goodluck Jonathan, for deliberately ignoring the present suffering of Nigerians as regards the biting fuel scarcity being experienced across the nation. Keyamo, who is also a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been critical of the Jonathan administration for its policies ever since he joined active politics.

In a series of tweets this evening, the revered lawyer accused the present administration of showing no concern and just adopting the“sidon-look” approach even as the scarcity across the nationwide continues unabated.
See the tweets below: 1st, there’s no power supply. 2nd, d fuel to power ur gen. is not available. 3rd, if it’s available, it’s black market cost. We’re in a mess — Festus Keyamo (@fkeyamo) May 14, 2015 It appears they’re pushing d present fuel situation to May 29 4 GMB to inherit. D motivation 4 GEJ to please Nigerians has long disappeared — Festus Keyamo (@fkeyamo) May 14, 2015 As at the time of writing this report, Keyamo’s tweets got an appreciable number of re-tweets which suggests many Nigerians are in agreement with his submissions. Last week, Keyamo criticised Jonathan, following the president’s prediction that those leaving the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to other parties were destined to return with empty stomachs. According to Keyamo, the president’s comments was an“ extremely careless utterance”. Meanwhile, the PDP campaign organisation spokesperson, Femi Fani-Kayode, will next month know his fate as regards the court case instituted against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Keyamo, who is the legal counsel to the EFCC, urged the court to uphold the remaining two counts and convict Fani-Kayode accordingly.
