Bomb Blast Rocks Yola, Kills 31, Injures 38



Bomb blast has rocked Adamawa state killing 31 and injuring 38. The blast occurred at the popular Gambo-Jimeta market in Jimeta, Yola, at about 7:45pm Thursday close to Zenith Bank along market road.
Meanwhile, the police have cordoned off the area and diverted motorists plying the route. The police also confirmed a suicide bomber was behind the blast.
The scene of the blast is very popular for night buyers and sellers of meat, cooked food and other foodstuffs.
