Explosion Rocks Sallah Prayer Ground in Yobe

An explosion has hit at the Eid Fitr prayer ground in Damaturu, Yobe state this morning, and many were reported dead.

The Eid ground hit by the blast is located at an area called phase-one along Maiduguri Road. The blast reportedly happened at about 8am and people asked to return back home. "Those that had gotten close to the Eid ground said many people were affected".
