The Nigerian Deposit Banks has since Monday continued with policy of listing the names of companies individuals owing banks. Today’s publication in Punch Newspaper, the former Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on the Diaspora, Mrs. Abike Dabiri-Erewa was mentioned as one of the people owing Diamond Bank.
According to the report, Mrs. Erewa’s Thriller Eneavours, which owes Diamond Bank the whooping sum of N122m.
However, she took to her twitter handle few minutes ago to debunk the report, saying that she does not owe any company and has never heard of the company associated with her name in the report.
"Shocked to see my pic in Punch .Said to owe 100m linked to some co.I OWE no one, not even myself? Haba!Punch. Must be mistaken identity.Also writing Diamond bank and CBN to set the records straight .Definitely NOT ME.!!
"Never even heard the name of the co! Will get to the bottom of this! As to detractors, you can't get me Will remain my calm, honest self ,Shame on you," she said.
