The 2015 post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) test of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) will hold for three days. Student Pulse gathered that the test is scheduled to hold from Wednesday 12th to Friday 14th of August. The university was forced to extend the number of days for the test after it saw the about 9,000 expected candidates almost quadrupled.

It had planned to cut down the number of candidates by raising the cut-off marks from 200 to 250 for the various courses, failed following protests.
But the Deputy Registrar (Information) of the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB), Olagoke Oke last week said the university it up to the task. "Before now, we were hoping to put logistics in place for the initial 9,000 candidates, but with the reversal of the decision, we now have to re-adjust and I want to say that we are fully prepared," Olagoke said.
"All our computers and its accessories, the backups, alternative power supply as well as adequate personnel that will conduct the examination are all ready." UNILAG is one of the universities with high number of applicants.
