All is well with Manchester United’s manager, Louis Van Gaal and his last seas sign, Angel Di Maria over the Argentine striker’s disappearance from their pre-season preparations. Van Gaal has reportedly fined the player £360,000.
Di Maria is believed to be very close to sealing a move away to Paris Saint-Germain, but Van Gaal is not ready to let the Argentine winger leave without facing disciplinary measures. According to the Mirror, the Dutchman wants Di Maria to pay for his “lack of respect”.
Although this might delay the transfer, the player is still expected to leave Old Trafford, with the two clubs having almost agreed a deal in the region of £44million – a loss of £16m in one year for a player United paid a British record fee for.
