A senior journalist with Vanguard Newspaper, Donu Kogbara has been abducted by gunmen in Port Harcourt, Rivers state. Kogbara, a columnist for the newspaper was abducted on early hours of Monday, August 30, 2015 from outside her home.
Police spokesman Ahmad Muhammad said efforts were under way to rescue her.
The reason for the abduction is unclear. And the kidnappers have not asked for ransom.
