Husband Kills Wife After Discovering She Was Taking Anti-HIV/AIDS Medication in Secret

A man has brutally killed his wife by stoning her to death after discovering that she was taking Anti-HIV/AIDS medication in secret. A husband has fled after killing his wife because she was taking anti–HIV/AIDS medication in secret. It is believed the husband made the sudden discovery and assumed the wife might have contracted the deadly disease without informing him of her situation. Police in Magarini sub-county in Kilifi County have launched a manhunt for the husband. The incident happened in Kenya.

The area OCPD, John Kilokwe said the woman, aged 37 was bartered with a stone by her husband for allegedly taking the ARV drugs without his consent, News24 reports. Kilokwe said security personnel are pursuing the suspect, who went into hiding after the attack. The OCPD said the body of the deceased has been taken to the Malindi Referral Hospital mortuary as police intensify a manhunt for the suspect.
