Carrie Fisher’s Mom Dies Two Days After Actress’ Death

Actress, Debbie Reynolds has died Wednesday, one day after her daughter Carrie Fisher passed away. Reynolds, who died at age 84 was taken to a Los Angeles hospital Wednesday afternoon, where she eventually died. Todd Fisher told CNN, "My mother passed away a short time ago. She spoke to me this morning and said she missed Carrie."

Debbie who was taken to hospital by ambulance from her son Todd's Beverly Hills home yesterday with a reported stroke died at the hospital.

The actress was planning her daughter Carrie Fisher's funeral before she also passed on.

Fisher died on Tuesday four days after a heart attack on board a flight from London to L.A. She was Reynolds' only daughter.
Reynolds, who was born Mary Frances Reynolds, was a bubbly singer, dancer and actress who starred in "Singin' in the Rain" and "The Unsinkable Molly Brown." Her film career began after being spotted in a beauty pageant at the age of 16, and she became famous when she was picked to co-star with Gene Kelly and Donald O'Connor in "Singin' in the Rain," one of Hollywood's best-known musicals.
She was married then famously divorced from singing sensation Eddie Fisher, who left Reynolds for Elizabeth Taylor in 1959.
