Cameroon to lift internet ban
Cameroon's President Paul Biya has ordered the resumption of internet services in two English-speaking regions which were hit by anti-government protests earlier this year.
The internet was cut off in January in the north-western and south-western regions, following protest from the Anglophone community against alleged discrimination by Cameroon's French-speaking majority, BBC reports.
At the time, the government alleged that social media was being used to spread fase information.
