Manchester United on Wednesday night defeated Ajax 2-0 to win the Europa trophy. Paul Pogba fired Manchester United in front in the 18th minutes, when his left-footed strike took a massive deflection.
Armenian Henrikh Mkhitaryan doubled the lead early in the second period, flicking home from close range after Ajax failed to deal with a corner from the right.
Manchester United will now head into the Champions League next season, after securing victory at the Friends Arena.
