Many celebs still haven’t gotten over the shock of the death of veteran actors Olumide Bakare and Pastor Ajidara
Now, the industry has to deal with the death of Moji Olaiya - Most of her colleagues have taken to social media to share their grief
Her colleagues in the industry have come out to express their condolences at her death with most still in shock seeing that less than two months ago, veteran actors Olumide Bakare and Pastor Ajidara passed on. Star actress Iyabo Ojo is mourning the death of her friend. "I still can't get over d shock, Just like that? death why? No!!!! this is just too much hummmmmmmm oku sunku oku, ki olorun je ki odun o jina sira ooooooo ok! Amin!!! RIP Moji Olaiya God why?" she wrote on her Instagram page.
Mercy Aigbe who is in the midst of a domestic violence scandal in her marriage simply wrote "Shocking! Very Sad." Toyin Abraham (formerly known as Toyin Aimakhu) was short of words. She simply posted a photo of a flame with no caption.
Top Nigerian movie star Funke Akindele-Bello took to her Instagram page and wrote "Sad sad sad I don't even know what to say. God knows best. Rest In Peace Moji Olaiya. I can't believe it. Hmmm."
Moji Olaiya is reported to have died of cardiac arrest in Canada. She recently released her movie "Iya Okomi," which starred her alongside Foluke Daramola and Funsho Adeolu. In 2003, she was nominated for the Reel Award Best Supporting Actress of the Year.
Moji was married to Bayo Okesola in 2007. The actress who was one of the children to veteran musician, Victor Olaiya, converted to Islam in 2014.
Olaiya was also known for her roles in films such as "Sade Blade ", "Nkan adun" and "Omo iya meta leyi ".
