She is into events management. The brand which she coined out from her first and last name is fast becoming one to reckon with in the industry.

Adesewa Mohammed, attended Yaba College of Technology and studied Office Technology and Management Studies... She is an office and event manager with professional experience in supervising and planning of events from inception to completion. She brings together her vast experience in planning and coordination of various projects handled over the years. She is thoroughly detailed, constantly demonstrating full commitment to client's satisfaction and excellent service delivery irrespective of the project size. Read excerpts from our chats.

What is Ma Signatures?

M.A Signatures: M. A Signatures is an event planning, coordinating, staffing and management company. It's forte specializes in elegant, memorable and professional delivery of events.

At M. A Signatures, we set a beautiful tone any client want to create for their event while still taking the pressure in coordinating and making every guest comfortable. We are committed to high quality and excellent service delivery. We as well exist to give every event a unique and classic touch. We specialize in creating exciting event services. We meet our client's standards by exercising professionalism and we employ necessary diligence and Care to achieve a satisfactory service... Most of all, we ensure cost-effective service, accountability and flexibility.

Is your brand registered?

M.A Signatures: M.A signatures got registered with C.A.C in year 2015 and we plan on joining our professional body, Appoemn soon.

Was there someone who gave you an idea in the business of event management

M.A Signatures: Not really, I was once an event usher and coordinator. Through that my passion for planning grew stronger. Then I prayed about my plans and aspirations after which I started with my business plan

What inspires you?

M.A Signatures: My inspiration came more from my love in seeing people been happy....i. e achieving client's satisfaction on all services rendered and empowering people with orientation, competence and courtesy to lead service delivery and ensure excellent performance

Event ushers are mostly referred to as "runs babe" what's your take on this?

M.A Signatures: Yes. I have once been accused of been a runs babe.... Well, the most important thing is how well the ushers are groomed by the brand they represent... It helps the guests get a better understanding of who an event usher truly is.

As a young child, did you have any idea, any vision of you wanted to accomplish in future?

M.A Signatures: Definitely! As a child, I remember I always loved putting things in order especially when there was a party....I loved planning

You started M.A Signatures while you were in school, tell me, how were you able to combine lectures with business?

M.A Signatures: Well..... It wasn't an easy task. It was so drilling because I was running a weekend part time program then ....But it was easier and possible for me to combine both because of my amazing team members... They managed all events and clients so well. I only had to follow up with phone calls and chats pending when I would be present.

Do you ever feel like giving up?

M.A Signatures: No, because it is what I enjoy doing, I have passion for it

For anyone going into your kind of business, how much and what is required?

M.A Signatures: I would advice they go for appropriate training and certification.... On the amount, a figure can't be made mention of....

But on the other hand, such a person must be able to identify his/her goals then go for it...

How do you scout for your ushers?

M. A Signatures: Well, my ushers have been with me from the very beginning.... They were oriented, trained and groomed appropriately ...

However, when there is a need for additions, there will be screening

How do you prepare yourself and your girls prior to the event?

M.A Signatures: We are always ready to work and make our next event a big success....

The only thing my team require is to get briefed and they are all good to go....In every of our events, we make sure our core values are always utilized. Which are: Integrity, Dedication, Courtesy, Performance and Excellence

Advice for aspiring entrepreneurs?

M.A Signatures: Be patient. Know exactly what you want and go for it....

Where do you see M.A Signatures in 5 years?

Better, Bigger, Greater and been able to achieve our vision & mission statement
