FIFA recognises only Pinnick as NFF president – Infantino

FIFA President, Gianni Infantino says the world football ruling body recognises only Amaju Pinnick as president of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), and will not accept any outside interference in NFF’s affairs. Infantino, while responding to questions at a press conference in Moscow on Friday, said Pinnick was duly elected and in accordance with FIFA rules.

Win 2018 World Cup, get $24m, Pinnick tells Eagles

Amaju Pinnick, the President, Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has said that the Super Eagles stand the chance of pocketing $24 million if they play in the final of the 2018 World Cup. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the World Cup will hold from June 14 to July 15 in Russia. Pinnick told newsmen in Abuja on Wednesday at a parley that the money was part of the agreement reached with the players to share 50-50, whatever would accrue to the country if they get to the final and lift the trophy.
