Mysterious fire destroys Borno’s IDP camp

A mysterious fire has destroyed over 300 tents at Ajiri Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp in Mafa Local Government council of Borno. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the fire started at about 5:30 pm on Tuesday and gutted the entire camp settlement, which provided shelter to hundreds of persons displaced by Boko Haram insurgency. A witness, Bukar Abba, told NAN that the fire rapidly spread and engulfed the entire camp due to the strong wind. Abba said that the fire ravaged tents, thatch houses, household utensils, dresses and other property, adding that there were no causalities in the incident.

Not Again! Another Bomb Blasts Hit Borno Today!

This is coming 5 days after bomb blast hits the state.....Borno and blast...hmmmmm...3mighty blasts have occurred in Biu town of Borno state today at about 12:50p.m. According to eyewitnesses, the blast occurred at Yamarkumi area of Biu along Maiduguri road. Ambulances and security operatives have attended to those injured.

Dr. Ahmad Abubakar Mahmud Gumi a renowned Muslim Cleric shared these photos on his Facebook page. Which shows civilians lined up in a secluded area, and later they are pictured on the floor and some being buried in a mass grave by security forces...It is not clear who they were or where they were brought from or when it happened..But he says they are innocent civilians..

Some of the comments said they were probably Boko Haram ,while others claim what ever the case, the killings are unjustifiable..
