Suggestive Photo of Legendary Actor Jide Kosoko and Daughter Surfaces Online

Some social media users have frowned at a viral photo of Nigerian actor, Prince Jide Kosoko cuddling his adult daughter. Bidemi Kosoko was recently spotted sitting on the laps of her father and veteran actor, Jide Kosoko as she held tightly to the widower simultaneously. The seeming harmless picture has attracted mixed reactions on Instagram since it was uploaded.

Jide Kosoko is an A-list Nollywood actor who has been around since the ‘60s and he’s still a darling of many viewers. He’s a consummate actor who has acted in many Yoruba and English movies. Aside acting, he has also produced many films. He spoke with Sunday Sun about his firsts.

First day on set, how did it go?

That was precisely in 1964 in a production titled Makanjuola by Ifelodun Traveling Theatre. I was between 10 and 12 years old but I was the main character. At the rehearsal, I was passionate and determined to show my stuff. I had been doing a lot in my house and when I was in primary school, people used to hail me. So, it was an opportunity to display my talent. I was really excited, knowing fully that I would be on television. Since that day, to God be the glory.

Veteran actor, Jide Kosoko, was one time suspected of being a ritualist by Kemi Olunloyo because he had lost three wives. In a new interview with Saturday Beats, Jide addressed Kemi's allegations saying she only spoke her mind and she had a right to air her opinion. He further said that it was a closed chapter because Kemi Olunloyo's father called him to apologise for his daughter’s utterance.

According to him, he never planned it, as he just found himself in such situation. “Let me say this today for the first time, I never planned to be a polygamist. I found myself in that situation and I had to adjust to the system,” he said.

Breaking News: Veteran Actor Jide Kosoko Survives Horrible Car Accident (Photo)

Actor Jide Kosoko cheated death this morning when he was survived in a ghastly accident around Ikeja Shopping Mall. He was driving himself when his car lost control due to brake failure, the car was a write-off, but thank God for His mercies, as the leader of the Yoruba movie sector escaped death by whiskers. He was immediately given medical attention by the Emergency unit by 7-Up with the kind support of LASTMA officials and to the glory of God, he is safe and sound. Efforts to reach the thespian proved abortive but the story was confirmed by Yomi Fabiyi. There were no casualties and there was no major injury. Thank God!!!
