Super Eagles Striker, Kelechi Iheanacho, Unveiled by Leicester City After Signing a 5-year Deal (Photos)


20-year Super Eagles striker, Kelechi Iheanacho has completed his move to Leicester City from Manchester City in a five-year deal after legal issues stalling the move were sorted. Leicester City Football Club has completed the signing of striker Kelechi Iheanacho from Manchester City for an undisclosed fee. The 20-year-old Nigeria international has put pen-to-paper on a contract to 2022 and becomes the fourth exciting addition to Craig Shakespeare’s squad ahead of the new campaign. Iheanacho will wear the squad no.8 and joins fellow Nigeria internationals Wilfred Ndidi and Ahmed Musa among the Leicester City ranks, as the team continue their pre-season preparations with a friendly at home to German side Borussia Monchengladbach on Friday night.

Man City to Dump Nigerian Forward, Kelechi Iheanacho


English club, Manchester City appears to have deemed Nigerian striker - Iheanacho surplus to requirement following a season of limited activities on the pitch. Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho is set to become the most surprising member of manager Pep Guardiola’s summer clearout at the Etihad Stadium with the club willing to listen to offers for the 20-year-old Nigerian. German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund have already expressed an interest in the young forward who was tipped for the top by former City boss Manuel Pellegrini and has scored 21 goals for City despite making only 20 starts.

Arsenal player, Alex Iwobi seems to be enjoying his on-field and off-field relationship with his Super Eagles teammate, Kelechi Iheanacho. Arsenal forward Alex Iwobi believes he can influence a transfer move for Manchester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho to the North London club. Iwobi feels the Gunners can cash in on the ‘funniest guy he knows’ but doesn’t see it happening in the coming months. The 20-year-old hailed his companion with the City forward and disclosed why he would love to see him in Arsenal’s traditional red and white jersey.
