President Muhammadu Buhari was on Tuesday in Abuja registered by officials of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) to enable him to obtain his national identity card. He said the exercise would confirm the country’s population, especially of those aged 18 years and above.

Exactly 6:43am this morning, I got an email from a reader, obviously working with The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC).

Honestly, I didn't wanna post this but if this is actually true then I think it's high time we stopped this act. To confirm the authenticity of the mail, I contacted someone working with NIMC who has this to say.... Here is what the person (I purposely did not state the gender) told me: It's the truth oh Opeyemi, I'm seriously praying for my own now, I didn't even know there were others that have worked longer and not been confirmed.
