About 20 people have been injured in a charter plane crash near South Africa's capital, Pretoria.
Russel Meiring, a spokesman for paramedic company ER24, says the injuries in Tuesday's crash range from minor to critical.

Russia's Emergencies Ministry says a passenger plane has crashed near Moscow and fragments of it have been found.
The An-148 regional jet disappeared from radar screens shortly after takeoff from Moscow's Domodedovo Airport on Sunday afternoon. News reports said 71 people — 65 passengers and six crew — were aboard the plane heading for the city of Orsk, about 1,500 kilometers (1,000 miles) southeast of Moscow.
A plane carrying some Russian soldiers has crashed in Siberia this morning, seriously injuring 16, the defense ministry said, quoted by Russian news agencies. The Ilyushin-18 plane carrying 32 passengers and seven crew made an emergency landing around 4:45 a.m Moscow time in the eastern Siberian region of Sakha, RIA Novosti.
Everyone survived but 16 suffered serious injuries, with three in a very serious condition, and were airlifted to the nearest hospital, Sakha’s regional authorities said in a statement.
A Nigerian pilot has crashed his helicopter in the Republic of Benin while on a routine flight to the country from Lagos
An Augusta 109 helicopter flown by a Nigerian pilot, Captain Makinde crashed yesterday in the Republic of Benin while on a routine flight to the country from Lagos.
Saharareporters learnt that the chopper was individually operated under Aero contractors license.
A source at the Accident Investigation Bureau in Nigeria stated that the agency is still awaiting further information about the crash. They said preliminary information available to the agency indicated that the chopper crashed around 4:25 PM local time when the rear of the chopper clipped an electric pole as it was landing.

The Kentucky State Police are responding to a report of a plane crash near the area of KY 810 South in the Suwanee community of Lyon County, at approximately 6:30 pm CST, a 911 call was received from a Lyon County resident. The caller told police that a 7-year-old female had walked to his home reporting that she had been involved in a plane crash. The juvenile was in distress and was transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
At the time of this release, a crash site has not been located, however; FAA Memphis Center has confirmed a distress call from a private aircraft in the vicinity of reported crash. At this time, the Kentucky State Police, Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, and multiple fire and rescue units are in the area conducting a search. The Federal Aviation Administration has been contacted and are also assisting. Additional updates will be sent as they become available.
Search crews have located the wreckage of a small plane in a wooded area off of Buckberry Trail which runs off of KY 810 South. Investigators on scene confirm (4) fatalities at the crash site. The fatalities account for the pilot and remaining passengers. Names of the deceased are withheld pending identification and notification of NOK.
More bodies were recovered on Friday from the search of crashed AirAsia flight QZ8501, bringing the total found to 30, said officials in Pangkalan Bun, the closest town to the presumed crash site. Meanwhile, the search for the flight which crashed into the sea on Sunday has moved underwater, with the arrival of French specialist equipment.

The 28-year old aircraft operated by Starbow Airlines was forced to return to Accra just 20 minutes after takeoff as the pilots found out the wing flaps were not functioning.
Narrating the incident to SaharaReporters, a passenger on the flight said the pilot announced that the aircraft had developed a "fault" soon after takeoff and informed them that they had to return to the Kotoka International Airport in Accra.
A Nigeria Air Force Helicopter crashed this afternoon in Bama, Borno State.
Director of Defence Information, Chris Olukolade revealed the news via a press statement:
A Nigerian Air Force Mi-35 Helicopter on a
training mission this afternoon, crashed due to technical fault at a
location South of Bama. Investigation has commenced to unravel the
circumstances that led to the accident. Meanwhile, it is established

Interfax reports that the plane lost contact at about 4:20 p.m.
Ukraine time and that the airplane was brought down by a "ground-to-air missile."
The crash comes just months after Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 disappeared in March.
Sources within Ukraine tell The Wire that Ukrainian television
reporters are stressing that this was a plane "crash," rather than a
plane which was shot down. Press in-country are saying Ukrainian authorities have already sent a group there to investigate now.

both on Ukrainian and Russian local television were careful to say that
Russia is about 200 km away from the crash site. The space above
Donetsk, per these reports, is closed airspace. The area was set to be closed through October 31st, offering this explanation, "According
to the indication of the aviation authorities of Ukraine the air space
over Lugansk and Donetsk areas is closed for flights of civil
aircraft."
There was a minor accident on Friday at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, involving a Turkish Airline aircraft and a Max Air plane. The Turkish Airline plane wings collided with that of Max Air plane which had brought in Pilgrims from Saudi Arabia.
Saturday PUNCH learnt that the Turkish Airplane had landed safely but was taxiing to stop at the airport's apron when its wing collided with that of Max Air. The collision resulted in minor damages to both airplanes and sources said they had been taken away for repairs. An online newspaper said the Spokesman, Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, Mr. Fan Ndubuoke, confirmed the incident. He however said damages to the aircraft belonging to both airlines were minor and that both planes had been taken away for repairs.
A similar incident occurred last year in Jos, Plateau State, when an Arik plane wings brushed an Airforce jet parked at the apron when the plane was taxiing to stop. There was also no casualty in the incident but only damages to both planes.
