Omar Captan, Former Tinsel star launches marriage reality TV show

Ghanaian actor and former Tinsel star Omar Sheriff Captan has launched his own reality TV show in Ghana.
The TV reality show called 'Ten to bee' according to Omar Sheriff is aimed at helping 'ten couples looking to get married achieve a successful marriage'.

Sheriff who was speaking on Ghana'sKFM Radio, noted that the divorce rate in the country is so high and hopes the programme will help to curb the growing trend.

The actor who has also suffered a failed marriage stated that celebrity marriages are seen to fall apart more often just because celebrities are in the limelight, adding that non-celebrity marriages are also falling apart but are not seen because those involved are not in the public spotlight.

The actor who is the Creative Director of the show also disclosed that participants will live in a house where they do things together, undertake special tasks including debates, and undergo counselling and teachings in the rudiments of marital life.

At the end, winners will receive a cash price of GHC10, 000.00, a car and a fully sponsored wedding.
Auditions for Accra and Kumasi have already been done for the reality show which will be telecast on Viasat 1.

Nigeria’s Got Talent winner Amarachi sets up talent academy

Winner of the Nigeria's Got Talent season1Amarachi Uyannehas set up a talent school for young dancers in Benin City.

Director of Special Projects and Head of Legal Affairs,Optima Media Group, Ugochi Pedro confirmed this to NET during the sixth regional audition which was held in Benin recently.

According to Ugochi Pedro, the academy which caters for talented people was responsible for nurturing some of the amazing performers who participated in the Benin auditions. 'We are glad and beyond impressed that the season one winner, Amarachi set up a talent school for people here in Benin, which has started giving room for amazing talents like herself as this was made known during the energetic and professional performances of some of these acts during the audition' she stated.

One of such acts was 4-year-old boy Chidi (little M.I), a student of Amarachi's dance academy who thrilled judges with his rap skills.

The Benin regionals held at the Excalibur Hotel on Monday, October 21, 2013, also witnessed a massive inflow of diverse talents of various age groups all through the day ranging from dancing to singing, rapping, comedy as well as first time talents such as mathematical wizards and fashion designing.

Next stop for regional auditions is Ibadan on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 and finally Lagos will host the final lap on October 26 and 27, 2013.
