Flavour says a collabo with Waconzy will ‘probably never happen’

Is there some sort of beef brewing between Flavour and Waconzy? Flavour was chatting up with fans yesterday on Twitter using the hashtag #AskFlavour when a fan asked ‘2niteFlavour Ft. @Waconzy will be a dope collabo, wen we gon’ be seeing that?’. Flavour replied by saying ‘Probably never gonna happen‘.

NET spoke with Waconzy and asked him his thoughts over Flavour’s ‘revelation’. The ‘Amosu‘ singer who was quite relaxed said he hasn’t taken any offence to Flavour’s tweet. ‘Everybody is entitled to their opinion but I remember my mother always told me ‘Never say never’. I’ve never asked him for a collabo but doing one is not a bad thing though‘, Waconzy said. And if he’s still cool with N’bania, he responded ‘He’s still me friend, we see at shows and stuff‘. Flavour has three studio albums to his credit – ‘N’bania‘ (2008), ‘Uplifted‘ (2010) and ‘Blessed‘ (2012) while Waconzy has two ‘I Celebrate‘ (2010) and ‘Money Back Guarantee‘ (2013).

“Davido paid me to diss him” – Waconzy

The music industry was recently stunned with Port harcourt artist Waconzy insulting the likes of Davido, Olamide and Timaya, on Live TV stating clearly that they are "little kids" making "noisy music".

The controversial statement did not go well with the their fans, who persistently insisted waconzy apologise to his fellow artist.

However the feud took a twist when Davido happened to be the only one to reply him, saying he (waconzy) is vexed bcos he wasn't allowed into Davido's house and the last time waconzy had an hit track he was in SS2. This accusation made waconzy so furious that he opened up on his visit to Davido's house, where they both agreed for waconzy to diss Davido and Skelewu song.

In the words waconzy "Davido is just a crazy small child, He invited me to his house and paid me to publicly diss him and once again draw attention to his sekelewu track, now he's going behind my back lying and insulting me. besides I cannot even insult him, cos insult doesn't apply to your younger one."

He also went further to state that the likes of olamide and timaya were included just so people will not notice the dis was orchestrated by Davido…Timaya is my PH brother, hence they won't think I'm been biased,so they'll take it seriously"

With Davido going as far as paying for diss just to keep the media and public talking about Skelewu after doing a $3000 prize dance competition, dance tutorial and two videos, we just can't seem to guess what he'll do next to ensure Skelewu becomes an household song forever.
