2013 GIAMA AWARDS NOMINEES LIST OUT

Nominees for one of the most anticipated awards in Nollywood, the Golden Icons Academy Awards popularly known as GIAMA is out. Names of nominees include veterans in the business including Kunle Afolayan, Ramsey Nouah, Teco benson, Emem Isong, Desmond Elliot, Uche Jombo-Rodriguez, Kate Hensahw, Rita Dominic, Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha but it also includes some newbies such as Blossom Chukwujekwu, Seun Akindele, Mary Lazarus, Tamara Eteimo, and many more.

There is much anticipation as the nomination list is quite competitive this year. The GIAMA vision is to celebrate the very best of African films and to continually showcase their unique talent, and expose in a meaningful manner to the diaspora at large. It is organised by Entertainment mogul, Mr Bode Ojo and is set to take place in Houston, Texas on the 19th of October.
