CORPORATE AFFAIRS MANAGER
Responsible for developing and managing business strategies of companies and programs that promote a favorable business environment and the company's reputation in the West Africa region . Establish a long-term vision and develops / DRIVES strategic plans for their organization that comprehensively address the trends , problems and needs of all stakeholders . Develops and delivers strategic plans for the site / regional organization CAG integrating its core programs of government affairs , educational programs , community relations and communications / media. Flat
discs proactive in managing complex public relations problems by identifying emerging issues that potentially impact on the brand image and reputation of Intel . Understand the business problems of the end user, and helps them solve their problems through the use and benefits of Intelrelevant programs. Establish and maintain strategic relationships and collaboration with external partners , NGOs , universities, regulators and opinion leaders through a solid understanding of internal and community priorities. Built an extensive network of internal and external contacts – policy makers, industry influencers , policy makers to raise awareness of policies and programs relevant Intel . Represents organization before CAGpartners and internal and external audiences , the Intel positioning as a thought leader . Internally, the successful candidate will interact and collaborate with the business development and marketing teams / PR in the organization of the country , and owners of related programs on the HQ side.
REQUIREMENTS:
Preferably have a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, electrical or industrial engineering or business administration degree and an excellent academic record .
Being able to understand the dynamics of the ICT industry and government policies affecting the experience of minimum 5 years (or equivalent) in these areas.
Direct work experience in national politics, government , think tanks , groups of public interest or in the field of public policy of the company.
Policy experience , preferably with direct knowledge of the technology sector and the key issues that influence the adoption of ICT.
Must be able to understand the technological solutions and usage patterns and demonstrate value to customers .
Ability to conduct strategic discussions and planning with key accounts ofthe government, NGOs, academics in countries in West Africa with a focus on Nigeria and Ghana.
Experience incomplex work environments and a proven ability to exercisejudgment, even in a crisis .
Excellent communicator with great interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to write well and translate complex issues in a simple people who are not experts can understand language.
Initiative with the ability to think, plan and execute large projects.
Independent results motivated and strong customer focus, but also the team who can work with people from a wide range of training and experience
Management skills necessary project and project execution and attention to detail.
Fluency in English is a prerequisite , the French and local languages ??are a plus.
