Chris Brown Now A Gay Rights Activist?

It's everywhere. Their voices are getting louder and louder with each passing day. Yes, it's the gays and lesbians, those who form part of what we like to call the "sexual minority".

They are clamouring for equal rights, they are kicking against discrimination on account of their sexual preference, and yet another star has lent his voice to aid their cause. Chris Brown has spoken out in favour of the LGBT community after tweeting a petition to his fans in promotion of gay rights organisation allout.org

The 'Fine China' singer' took to Twitter to express his support for the charity who are petitioning to Cameroon's President Biya in a bid to protect homosexuals in the African country after a reported increase in homophobic attacks throughout the region.

The 24-year-old star wrote: "Love is not a crime. Gay or straight. Love who u wanna love. Stop the hate & sign here #Unity."

Chris has previously been vocal about his support for gay rights, with his single 'Don't Think They Know' – featuring vocals from the late Aaliyah – as he claims the track was part of his Unity campaign which encourages love for all races, genders and different sexual orientations.
