Jamie Foxx To Star As Martin Luther King In New Biopic?

Hollywood actor Jamie Foxx is no stranger to challenging movie roles, but this next one could be his biggest and most daunting yet.



According to reports,Jamie Foxxis touted to play the role of African-American civil rights activistMartin Luther King Jr.in a forthcoming biopic to be directed byOliver Stone. The movie is also set to haveSteven Spielberg, as well as the children of the late national figure, on the production team.There have been many biopics ofMartin Luther King Jr.in the works, but this is the only one endorsed by the King family.



Jamie Foxx has featured in movies like Collateral, The Kingdom and Django Unchained, including an Oscar-winning performance for his role in Ray, which was itself a biopic on the late visually-impaired music legend Ray Charles.
