Eaglets’ Captain Musa Muhammed ‘Swarmed’ with Offers from EPL Clubs

Several English Premier League (EPL) clubs have indicated interest in Nigeria Under-17 star Musa Muhammed. This information was disclosed by his agent on November 20, 2013, Wednesday.

17-year-old player led Nigeria to a record fourth FIFA Under-17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates earlier this month.

Musa Muhammed scored three goals, including a well-taken free-kick against defending champions Mexico in the final.
"We have received quite a number of offers from representatives of clubs in the English Premier League for Muhammed. We would rather not disclose the identities of these clubs now.

"But we have some meetings planned for England this week and we will then take it from there," the player's agent Adam Mohammed disclosed.
Speculation centered on Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and Newcastle United being among the clubs chasing the highly-rated Nigerian youngster.
