#JailTheGay: Between Kenny Brandmuse And Linda Ikeji

Celebrity advertising guru, Kenny Brandmuse took to his Facebook timeline to call out famous blogger, Linda Ikeji's name, over what she said on Ebony Life TV's The Banky & Tiwa show on 'Jail -the-gay' bill.

Seun Kuti and Linda Ikeji were the two major guests on set aside the Comedian who came to lighten things up. Contrary to what we think, there's actually a growing population of open-minded Nigerians except for the troll on that show. Here's the show paraphrased:

Tiwa:I honesty don't see the reasons why the Government wants to be bothered by what two consenting adults are doing in their privacies. We can't play God in people's lives.

Seun Kuti:It's actually very barbaric that a Black nation who had witnessed so much discrimination on the basis of their skin color in times past will be the one sending people to jail because of whom they choose to love. It is a known fact, if only these people can read, that some people are born gay and there's nothing we can do about it. Gays are not Western invention. A little journey into our history past will show this pattern. It's always a minority. It's always been with us. We just love to deny it.

Linda Ikeji:Well, I have some gay friends but I think they should just keep it in the closet. Our culture is not ready for that now. We need to protect our values as a nation. It's not our culture. Our society is not just ready for that gay thing. Else they get lynched. So, the Government may be right as this bill will keep things in check.

Banky W:Our last words will be to reiterate what Tiwa said : the Government should have better things to do than legislating against what two consenting adults are doing in their privacies. It's their lives, after all. Let God judge people. We are not to judge people for who they are.
Now you know who the troll is. She always blogs Gossips and half-truths and makes money off them. And our culture is ready for it. What a Troll! It's good someone reminds that girl that the new bill requires that she present her gay friends for prosecution. Else, as a friend to someone who is gay she also risks a 10-year imprisonment.
