Michael Schumacher was put into an artificially-induced coma to help
reduce swelling in his brain after sustaining severe head injuries in a skiing accident on Dec 19 2013. The seven-time F1
champion is no longer in a coma and has left the hospital. Michael's management company reports:
'Michael has left the CHU Grenoble to continue his long phase of rehabilitation. He is not in a coma anymore.'
In March after being advised to pull him out of life support,
his wife refused to give up and reportedly spent £10million on building
a fully equipped medical suite in their family home so he can leave
the hospital and stay at home with her.She felt she would betray his love and believed prayers and faith would bring him out of the coma.
