Ghana Ranks Number One In Africa, Beats Nigeria In Math And Science Education

Ghana beats Nigeria in maths and science education
It is always a debate who is better when it comes to the Nigerian universities, the older generations would always pitch their tents with UNN, ABU, UI, Unilag and OAU.
But the younger generation would put their faith in private universities like Covenant University but all these doesn’t matter when it comes to the global ranking.Ghana has been ranked the first in math and science education in Africa which means that the country’s educational sector is superior in these two fields.

The report from the Global Information Technology Report 2014 that was compiled by the World Economic Forum has proved this fact.
Ghana is currently ranked 46 among the 148 countries monitored in global competitiveness in the area of Maths and Science.

You may be wondering where Nigeria is placed, they are placed on position 133rd while South Africa is taking the 146 out of 148 position.
This report had assessed how prepared an economy is to apply the benefits of  information and communications technologies (ICTs) to promote national economic growth and well-being.
