It is always a debate who is better when it comes to the Nigerian
universities, the older generations would always pitch their tents with
UNN, ABU, UI, Unilag and OAU.
But the younger generation would put
their faith in private universities like Covenant University but all
these doesn’t matter when it comes to the global ranking.Ghana has been
ranked the first in math and science education in Africa which means
that the country’s educational sector is superior in these two fields.
The report from the Global Information Technology Report 2014 that
was compiled by the World Economic Forum has proved this fact.
Ghana is currently ranked 46 among the 148 countries monitored in global competitiveness in the area of Maths and Science.

may be wondering where Nigeria is placed, they are placed on position
133rd while South Africa is taking the 146 out of 148 position.
This
report had assessed how prepared an economy is to apply the benefits
of information and communications technologies (ICTs) to promote
national economic growth and well-being.
