Proposed LP, PDP Coalition Is A Shame - Ogun Youths cry out

We read, with regrets in our hearts, the press release from the Labour Party in Ogun state calling for other parties to join them in a project they tagged "Amosun Must Go" AMG. The press release which basically  glorified the "common denominator OGD" showed a hunger for regaining power regardless of the eventual cost, even, if it means the coming together of strange political bed fellows in a quest to oust just one performing governor from power.
The laurels of Gov. Ibikunle Amosun far outweigh the purported claims of any opposition. The achievements, works and clear impacts of the Governor are not just commendable but outstanding in every form.
The needs of the state are not embedded in partisanship and this should therefore not be about partisanship or coalitions. This should be about the realities of change that have come into the socio-economic life of Ogun state, and the continuation of the good that has come into the lives of the citizens.

The idea that partisanship is worth fighting for and placing above the needs of the people is preposterous. This therefore leads to the question, what is the coalition against Amosun for?
The proposed coalition is a sham, seeking to bring together political overlords who want to acquire more for their already overfilled bellies, while trumping the masses, by manipulating their emotions.
The youths of Ogun state have experienced major developments and transformation since Governor Ibikunle Amosun came into government. Every sector of the state has seen major improvements and newness.
Unlike the OGD administration which consisted of several abandoned, uncompleted projects including the road leading to the most populous university in the state, Ilisan-Ago Iwoye road, which they made unmotorable for over One and half years (thanks to Gov Amosun, the road is now being used and construction work is ongoing there and in other locations around Ogun State); and a trail of broken promises. Mass atrocity, plundering and ineptitude pervaded the previous Governments, despite collecting federal allocations & spending internally generated revenue.
While we unequivocally say a big NO! to the proposed coalition, we hereby state, that we appreciate the good works of the Gov Amosun administration and support the continuity of standard implementation of policies, development of the socio-economic life of the people and growth of the various sectors which are vital to the health of Ogun state.

500k Youths for Amosun (#500kYouths4Amosun) is a group of young people from Ogun State who believe in the work Gov Ibikunle Amosun is doing and would like him to continue his service by getting a second term in office. The organization is formed with the aim of getting 500,000 youths across the state to vote for Gov Amosun.
