Ebola: Again, 2 people die in Benue after salt and water solution!

 

Seriously, this is no longer funny...it's not even up to a week after 20 people were hospitalized and 2 people in Jos died, report reaching me confirms that two more have died in Makurdi, Benue State after drinking salt to prevent Ebola according to the report confirmed to SUN by Dr Joseph Kumba, Director, Public Health in the Ministry of Health and Human Services.

 

“We got the report at a meeting today (Wednesday 13th August) that two persons died at Ushakaa clinic as a result of drinking and bathing with hot salted water.”......

Dr Innocent Gbillah, the Medical Director of Ushakaa Hospital did not disclose the names but said it was a male and a female who were admitted on Saturday.

  We did everything possible to help the victims but to no avail. One of them died on Tuesday at 7 pm while the other gave up the ghost at 5 am Wednesday (yesterday).”
