The 2014 Edition of the Nigeria Customer Service Awards will hold on October 9th At IBETO HOTELS Apo Abuja
NCSA has confirmed receipt of nominations for the 2014 edition of the awards VIA Shortcodes (20822) and the Website the nomination will end by September 2014.  
The awards recognizes companies that deliver effective customer service with a view to making them to leverage on such value-orientation and encourage other entities to emulate such commitment to business social responsibility principles. Coordinator of the NCSA, Dr. Aliyu ilias, said the Award is designed to create the consciousness among corporate business owners to go beyond paying lip service to customer service by establishing a closer connection with customers and rewarding business that meet the Award assessment
criteria for meritorious recognition by consumers and other stakeholders.
“Essentially, companies are assessed on their customer service practices in a process that includes customer feedback and a review of staff and management processes as they relate to customer service. 
Indeed, the NCSAs is packaged to encourage each company to improve their commitment to efficient service delivery on a continuous basis and by implication, empower them to properly position their brands at the leading edge of the increasing dynamic global market environment,” he said In the past few years, the organizers of the NCSAs have not only recognized some entities whose services and evidence-based commitment to customers’ satisfaction were recognized by the panel of judges as meeting global best practices.
 
Some of the past award winners are: Etisalat Telecommunications, Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB), Notore, Petrochemicals, Channels Television, Elizade Motors, Arik Airlines, Pathcare Health Services (ISO certified health provider, and Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), amongst others. The 2014 edition which promises to be more engaging and better planned with about 32 business sectors in focus, is expected to involve leading
consulting firms, professional marketers , value assurance expert and The Nigeria mystery shoppers Providers whose judgment will determine which enterprises are recognized by the awards.
 
The award process follows five simple steps: nomination, assessment, feedback and award allocation. The nomination process can be completed by sending NCSA (Company name) to 20822 or by completing it online at
www.nigeriacustomerserviceawards.com and customers are free to nominate companies based on their personal experience with such entities goods or services. There is an option to expose poor customer service through the
report bad service on the website.
 
The assessment process, which is in line with the world’s best-practice customer service standards, includes a self-evaluation questionnaire, completed by the nominated company, and customer feedback is sought via our online customer service assessment tools. Once completed the awards assessment team analyze the results and present detailed feedback to the nominated company about their performance.
