Otunba Gbenga Daniel Returns To PDP

Se na PDP dey reign now ba? It has been disclosed that the former governor of Ogun state, Otunba Gbenga Daniel will formally return to Peoples Democratic Party on Wednesday. He will reportedly declare for ruling party at the Aso Rock Villa, the same way governor Mimiko defected last week.

Recall that Daniel ordered his supporters to join PPN in build up to 2011 general elections when PDP leaders in Ogun state denied his anointed candidate, Gboyega Isiaka the party’s governorship ticket.

Daniel who ruled Ogun state from 2003 to 2011 later joined Labour Party and promised to support president Goodluck Jonathan. Daniel is returning to PDP because of Jonathan’s insistence that all his supporters must operate from the ruling party.
