Photos: Kunle Afolayan’s October 1 Gets 13 Nominations for AMVCA 2015

The nomination party of 2015 Africa Magic Video Choice Awards (AMVCA) 2015 was held last night, multiple award winning and prolific filmmaker Kunle Afolayan’s new film, October 1 broke record of award nominations with 13 categories. It was like a dream to both the producer and cast to hear that October 1 has been nominated in 13 different categories, as celebration followed immediately.

 

Recounting his joy on his instagram page, Mr. Afolayan stated, "Team October 1 is saying thank you to all those who have supported us so far. Now we need you to vote for us to win in all 13 categories that we have been nominated at AMVCA award. Thank you. Excitement and kolo celebration after the 13 nominations announcement for October 1.
