Photos: Young girl tries to commit suicide in Bayelsa

A girl has been stopped from committing suicide in Okeka-epie area of Yenagoa, the Bayelsa capital. She was said to have picked up a fight with her sister and later left to an isolated area where she reportedly drank a deadly insecticide called sniper.

She was found by a passer-by (boy) who saw her suicide letter on the grass. Consequently, she was rescued by neighbours and rushed to the hospital after given palm oil to subside the poisonous substance.
