Sad! 23 Die In Ghastly Auto Crash In Cross River

At the least 23 people Wednesday morning lost their lives in a ghastly auto- crash which occurred along the Calabar-Awi-Akamk­pa Expressway of Cross River State, South South, Nigeria. The accident involved a gold coloured Picnic car and a 14-seater Hiace commercial bus.

 

The bus was coming from Ikom axis, with a total of 18 passengers, while the Picnic mini bus was conveying six people said to be returning from a burial ceremony of one of their friends in one of the Northern States.

The Hiace bus, had a head- on- collision with the Picnic car which led to the demise of seven people on the spot, while the rest gave up the ghost later.
