The suspected killers of late former Vice Chancellor of Federal University Of Technology, Akure, (FUTA), Professor Albert Ilemobade, were on Wednesday arraigned before a Chief Magistrate Court in Akure and subsequently remanded in prison until September 18, when the case will resume.
The suspects, Daniel Ita Effiom, 24, and Olayemi Bamitale, 36, were arraigned on a five-count charge of murder and robbery.
They however could not take their plea because they had no lawyer to represent them.
The body of the professor was found decaying in a store within his premises at Ijapo, seven days after he was killed.
